Sandy and Maria
We are Sandy and Maria: the two PCs (program coordinators) who will guide you through this amazing experience in the northern region of Dominican Republic. We both are very passionate about social justice and the beauty of service learning. We believe in the potential of the local communities to improve themselves, but we also love to have fun in the process, meet new people, and dance! Maria loves to know new places and people. Sandy loves reading books and riding his motorcycle.
We are really looking forward to meeting all of you and sharing this awesome trip we have prepared for you so you can learn and enjoy the magic of the Dominican culture. We are pretty sure you will have fun and learn a lot. And you will come back to your homes having been changed in the best way possible.
