Hello, I’m Melanie Mendez and I go to school at John Swett High School in Crockett, California.
I play volleyball, I enjoy cooking, and I am a huge book worm. I was born and raised in the Bay Area, but with a huge Hispanic background. My mom is Colombian, and my dad is Guatemalan, so I grew up with a lot of Spanish around my house.
I love pizza and the color red, and I can’t wait to meet all of you and everyone else in Ecuador. Also, I have never left the country, let alone been on a plane, so this will definitely be a new experience for me in many ways!
