Hey Glimpsers, family, and friends!
Dear Glimpsers. My name is Carlos Navarrete. I am looking forward to meet all of you. Although this is my first trip with Global Glimpse, I have traveled to other Latin American countries when I was in the Navy. I have a love of travel and I hope that you all will catch the travel bug too. I am really excited to be on this journey with all of you.
My name is Crystal Charity and I will be the other GG leader traveling with the July 21st delegation to Jinotega! I’m a social science teacher at Oakland School for the Arts and a proud Oakland resident. I developed an interest in experiential learning while leading service learning trips in Chicago and DC for the past four summers. This will be my first time in Nicaragua. I’m excited to participate in global education for the first time since I studied abroad in South India as a college student and, most of all, to witness our delegation of amazing youth engage with a new culture/community.
