Hello from the DR,
Today was our second full day in Jarabacoa. We welcomed today’s day with a 7AM wakeup call followed by a delicious breakfast of toast, jamon y queso, cereal, fresh papaya and pineapples, and sweet tamarindo juice. Directly after breakfast, we visited Bohios Campo where we learned about cacao, and Taino indigenous practices of cultivating coffee and chocolate from coffee and cacao beans. After the tour, we spent the rest of the morning in the pool which was the rose of the day. Following the pool, we enjoyed an amazing lunch of fried chicken, stewed beef, rice with and without bacon, beans, and three different variations of salad. We also enjoyed the sweetest passion fruit juice I’ve ever had. After lunch, we returned to La Salle and enjoyed the best dance class with Adderly. Who taught us Merengue, Bachata, and Salsa with no breaks. Boy were we tired, but we powered through and joined Jarabacoa on the main street for the most delicious ice cream and basketball with locals. Some played, some spectated some even played volleyball, but everyone enjoyed the beautiful weather and interacting with the local community. We were pretty much tired after this and ended the evening with dinner, our nightly meeting, and the passing of the torch to the new Lider Del Dia. Big Love to everyone for an amazing Sunday. We miss you and love you. Don’t forget to comment, like and subscribe to our channel. Catch ya on the flip side. No really flip through and come back tomorrow for the most recent pictures and the latest updates.
Big Love, Krystle and Natasha

Wow! What a way to spend a Sunday! From fresh papaya to learning the art of cultivating chocolate and coffee, then having fried chicken and passion fruit juice, from the pool to Bachata lessons, to ice cream and immersing yourselves in the culture. All we did was take a walk in the park. LOL!
Sounds like you’re making the most of your days! We’re so excited you are experiencing all of this.
