CAP Day 2 (No. 18)

Salutations to all,

Today we woke up early at a very calm 4:45 am. Had breakfast to go on the bus to leave bright and early to Playa Venao. Once we had arrived at the one and only, Playa Venao, we had to walk up and down steep hills, through the water, and through the mud to plant some trees and save the spider monkeys (indubitably). We then separated into our groups and got to work planting different species of trees for the spider monkeys.

Once we finished the first site, we moved on to the second site and planted 1000 TREES (indubitably)! We then hiked back to the bus and went to Wao Venao, a very beautiful beach where we found Barbados. We ate lunch, (which was very good) then dibbled and dabbled our toes in the water. We expeditiously returned to the 4-star hotel, Hotel Piamonte where we used our time very wisely to spend money at the stores on the block, and wrote magnificent letters to the beautiful Global Glimpse donators that made this opportunity possible.

Salutations to all once again, have a great day/evening depending on when you’re reading!

Wow 4:45 AM, that’s tough work! And what a trek as well, definitely getting everyone quite the dirty-some. As they say in Macau, “The best of your provision is what you earn”
