Today we started off the day with a wake-up call at 7 am by playing music. Every house had a different song: Bob’s Burgers theme song, Immigrant Song, Sally Goes Up, Sally Goes Down, and barking dog noises. Once everyone was up and ready we had breakfast, mashed potatoes, fried cheese, eggs, pancakes, and fruit punch. Once we were all finished we took our transportation, the guagua to the location for the CAP project. We got to the house and started working in a team effort to get through the first half of mixing and transporting concrete. Throughout our project, we had some conflicts but were able to overcome them and pull through as a team. Afterward, we got transportation back to the hotel, so we could eat lunch. After we were all done, we took the guagua back to the site and finished the flooring for the house. Once we finished we got back to the hotel and were able to shower and freshen up, just in time for our 7 pm dinner. Of course, after that, we had our nightly meeting at 8 pm and passed the torch to the next leaders of the day for tomorrow.

Great job everyone! It looks like hard and dirty work but it will be worth it when you see how much it helps the family. Try to enjoy this part of your trip as much as the fun stuff.
Can’t wait to see you Charlie!
Love, Mom
