CAP Day 2!!!!! (No. 7)

Hey everybody Ana Lopez and I were Lideres Del Dia today!!! Today was day 2 of the community action project – we picked up where we left off yesterday. I’ve been part of the mural and hopscotch group since we started working on the action project. We started the second hopscotch and the mural for the school today. We were originally supposed to do one hopscotch but this morning we were informed that the Director had requested the mural and second hopscotch for the children. Being able to add games for the children to play during their recess or break time is a super fun to do, working with Celeste, Isabel and other students -Yvette

Hello everybody I’m Ana Lopez and I was Lider Del Dia today with Yvette as my partner. Today we’ve been doing the Community Action Project for the second day. Each group was in charge of different sections at the school. Some worked in the trenches, others worked on the painting and the gardening. I saw that many did really great work and put a lot of effort into the different sections. Many were determined to finish as much as they could and each one contributed their own part. Even though we experienced some communication challenges, we still provided what the school asked for, and made sure that it was well done. When working on the painting I could tell that everyone was working really hard. Our team was really motivated as well as excited, especially on the the hopscotch piece. We each put our own design on one of the hopscotch squares! It’s fun to work with other people as a group. Today was really fun and a lot of work and I hope to have even more fun tomorrow! – Ana Lopez
