Cap Execution 2

Today we got to sleep in until 8:00 am we had an hour to get ready and had breakfast at 9:00 am. After breakfast, we traveled to the German Abdo school to finish our cap execution. We arrived around 10 am and got straight to work. We continued the work we had started last Friday. Some of us continued working on the mural for the school while others worked on completing the fence. Today was a hot day in the sun so we made sure to apply sunscreen continuously and drink plenty of water throughout the day.

Afterwards, we had lunch at the school around 1 pm. We had deep-fried shrimp with a side of rice and plantains, with a side of nice cold lemonade. After lunch, we got straight to work because there was a lot to get done and there was no time to waste. Some started painting flowers on the mural while others continued to paint the fence. We finally started to wrap up the mural and after we finished the mural, we went to help the fence team out since they still had a bit more work to complete. Around 4 pm we were finished completing the fence too and we donated the leftover paint to the school of German Abdo.

Around 4:15 we headed back to our hotel and had free time for about two hours. We went to the store to get some snacks and just chilled and had a good time with our peers. Then we proceeded to have dinner at 6:30 pm where we had a delicious meal. We had tacos with beans and chicken and beef and tea on the side which everyone enjoyed. After dinner, we thanked our cooks and headed to our nightly meeting. Where we discuss our day and give thanks to all our peers for all the lovely things they do for each other. Around 8 pm our meeting finished and we now have free time till lights out (10 pm).
