Community Action Project Day 2 (No. 4)

Hello family and friends,

It’s Chris and Jonathan, the Leaders of the Day on Friday, June 14th. Our Community Action Project, or CAP, is reforestation in Panama. We are trying to help out the environment and people one step at a time. We woke up around 4 AM to get ready for the day. We set off at 5 AM to the worksite. Some fell asleep and some spent their time talking. We all enjoyed the nature. For the second day of CAP, we were able to plant trees on a different mountain with beautiful scenery. We were able to enjoy the view while we rested. We were able to see some of the wildlife, such as the different birds, cows, horses, and even monkeys, as well. Me (Chris) and a few others were able to witness the nice breeze and view from the top of the mountain that we worked on after we were done. When it started raining, we ran down the mountain as fast as we could, sliding and jumping. While it was really fun and thrilling, it was also really tiring and hard. After 5 hours of walking, hiking, and planting we had to leave due to the hard rain. After a hard day of work, we went back home and had our little celebration for one of the best leaders out there PACOOooo. Happy Birthday, Paco! We now have the rest of the night to bond.

Until next time,

Chris & Jonathan.
