Hello Glimpsers and GG families,
My name is Ingrid Vega and I am the second Global Glimpse Leader for our trip to Constanza, Dominican Republic. I am very happy and honored to be part of this unique experience and I can’t wait to meet all of you.
A little bit about myself… Originally from France, I have been living in Holyoke, MA for the last 27 years. During those 27 years, I got married, raised a family, participated actively in the Holyoke community, and became a teacher at Holyoke High School. In the past 10 years, I have been the international travel coordinator for traveling students to Western and Eastern Europe and Central America.
Traveling is and always has been a part of my life. I love discovering new cultures, seeing new sceneries, trying new food, and meeting new people. I also understand that it involves stepping out of some comfort zones, taking chances, and challenging yourself in different ways. But believe me, it is so worth it.
I am so proud to join you in this new adventure and create new fantastic memories/stories. So thank you for your support, your trust, and let‘s travel!
Ingrid

Thanks for all your help yesterday – so glad everyone is FINALLY in DR!
What a crazy long airport travel day for everyone. Hope you can catch up on sleep and that the program gets off to a good start! Looking forward to the blogs.

Got there safe and sound! Super wonderful. I’m so envious of all the local foods you will experience. (Bring some home to me). And the people you will meet and the sights and activities you will undertake. Such a great opportunity.
