Costa Rica, Here I come!

Hello! My name is Emily Rodriguez. I’ve grown up in Philly (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) my whole life, and I go to Mariana Bracetti Academy Charter School, otherwise known as MBA. I am now going into my final year, 12th grade. During 10th grade, I got the ability to get into a program called Summer Search. It was this very program that got me into Global Glimpse. My mentor, Muffy, believed it would help me get out of my bubble and communicate more. I believe that this trip, this experience will help me improve my ability to work in groups and to socialize more.  By the end, I know I will have learned many new skills, met many new people, and acquired lessons I will remember for life. I can’t wait to see how much I will grow and learn as a person on this trip.
