We had a ton of FUN today!! We first walked to a local artist, EL GATO’s shop and everyone created a clay mask! We learned so much about the local history and the Carnival! Also, we were able to go to the Community Center and get dance lessons taught to us by Paul Rosado; Merengue Bachata and Salsa were on the menu for dances! Everyone participated; we smiled, laughed, and had an amazing time learning these new dances today! As we immersed ourselves in the Culture, we felt the spirits of the ancestors dancing alongside us.
