Day 13- Final Day

Hello families! This is the last night we are posting before leaving tomorrow morning.

Today was a physical and mental break after completing the skatepark project with Matzu. We went back to our regular schedule, waking up at 7:00 and eating breakfast at 7:40. As part of the last day, it was only right for us to reflect on how we have grown as a group and what we have done across the past two weeks. As a group, we wrote individual thank you cards to the supporters of Global Glimpse, also taking the time to address our favorite and least favorite parts of the trip. After that, some of us got our final glance of Costa Rica by visiting the town one last time.

Upon returning, we had lunch and reflected on the trip further. Our Global Glimpse Leaders hosted a series of activities where people reminisced their favorite memories, expressed their takeaways from the program and spread big love to their newfound friends. Following the activities, we returned to our rooms to focus on packing for our flight the next day, We had our dinner at 6:00 and later hosted our final nightly meeting, passing the leadership role to Lucas and Cooper. We all returned to our rooms for the night to share our final bonding moments together.

This has been an amazing adventure for all of us. We will miss Costa Rica very much and all the wonderful experiences will be in our hearts forever. Thank you for all of the support, parents, and for giving us this opportunity. This is Caitlin and Adella signing off. Pura Vida!
