Hello parents!!!!!
Today we started our first official full day by waking up your kids with the sound of an electronic rooster!!! This caught them by surprise and even some were dancing lol
We had a delicious breakfast and started our day with an icebreaker to remember our names and dance moves! us the PCs started the Welcome and Orientation seminar to set the tone for the next 14 days.
We explained GG rules and even made our own group agreements!
After having a delicious lunch of fish, smashed potato, and salad, some students went swimming while we did one-on-ones to get to learn about each others’ restrictions, allergies, and preferences (we like to make sure that they have fun and feel supported during these 2 weeks).
After finishing up we walked up and downhill to the local town and saw the school where we’ll be doing our CAP Project, we also so the church and went to the local supermarket to buy snacks!
After arriving back home, some went back to the pool, we had dinner (lentil soup) and had our first nightly meeting where we passed the torch to the next Leaders of the Day!!! Yadi and Thomas presented their talent by dancing some merengue! Today was an amazing day we all enjoyed it a lot
Stay tuned for Day 3! We’ll be going out to the main town of the province of Cartago!!!!!!!!!!
