Day 7: Fun Day Sunday

Hello Globe, our names are Aron Cuison and  Aidan Sales. We are your Leaders of the Day for Sunday, July 16.  The group had an early wake-up call at 6 am with us knocking on the door and creating beats. For breakfast, we ate pancakes with egg and pineapple. Then we left for a 4-hour drive to Juan Dolio in the province of San Pedro De Macoris bordering the South Eastern Carribean Sea. The bus ride was filled with a lot of music, sing-alongs, and naps. ?

When we arrived, we settled into our new base home, where we will be staying for two days (with AC). After the tour of the new place, we had a lunch similar to the previous ones, consisting of salami and rice.

During that time, it was stormy with a significant amount of rain. Nevertheless, we decided to head to the beach and spent a delightful 3 hours enjoying each other’s company through both the rain and sunshine.

The sand got everywhere, but we carried on with our day, which ended with a lot of shenanigans in the house pool, where we played more volleyball, created human knots, and made whirlpools. Lastly, we then had a big taco dinner with Aidan’s very bad taco-related jokes to keep the energy up.
