Dia de Cultura!

¡Hola Todos!

Today was a sunnier day! A few of us went for a morning run around 6, and some of us slept in. We all woke up around 7 am. From there we had breakfast which consisted of toasted sliced bread and eggs. To wake us all up, we played a very DIFFICULT game of charades. After that, we created the rules of our trip, and set boundaries with one another. We also reread the Global Glimpse rules. Then, we gathered our things and got ready for a walking city tour! We got to see the local church as well as different artifacts from a museum. It was very insightful. When we arrived back at the hotel, we got ready for lunch. Some of us had spaghetti and pork, while others had chicken or beef. After that, we started to discuss the plans for the Capstone project as well as set goals for ourselves as a delegation. From there, we got ice cream and played a few games of telephone! After that, we returned back to the hotel for our dinner (which was lovely). We ended the night with our daily nightly meeting. We shared our summary of the day and passed the torch to the lovely and talented Jayden and Estefany. We ended the night with some more bonding and games until we all said Buenas Noches at 10:30

Amazing! A walking tour sounds so healthy and fun at the same time. Also Shayla, this is Mumu from the masjid, and I wanted to let you know how lonely it’s been without you. Miss my praying buddy a lot! Hope you’re having fun though

A walking tour is prosperous for all, it is amazing seeing so many young people, even those among my age group, engaging in such productive activities. It truly inspires my heart, that others my age would care to possess such proclivities. As they say in Macau, “Philosophy for the mind, eating for the stomach, and walking for the heart”
