Dominican Republic, here we come!

Helloooo Glimpsers! Are you all ready?!

My name is Adriana, and I am thrilled to be one of your Global Glimpse Leaders on this amazing adventure to Juan Dolio, DR! This will be my first trip as a GGL, and I am so excited to explore, learn, and grow together! I know that we are going to have the BEST time!!

I am the mom of two amazing kids: Cecilia (15 y) and Eduardo (22 y), and have been married for almost 30 years. Originally from Brazil, my family had an opportunity to move to California in 2013, and we didn’t think twice – with two kids, ten bags, and a chocolate Labrador, we landed in the USA on Thanksgiving! I am an Academic Coach at Da Vinci Communications, one of GG’s partner schools. In my free time, I love attending music concerts, traveling, and camping with my family. Our big family project is to visit all 63 National Parks in the US, and we’ve already conquered 15 of them! Our most memorable adventure was a cross-country RV trip for three months, which we embarked on just before Covid hit. As a festive Brazilian family, we love music, food, and we are always partying with friends in the neighborhood.

Fun fact: I LOVE ice cream. Can’t wait to taste all the tropical flavors!! Who is in for this challenge with me? ?
