Buenas,
This is Zadie and Michele, the two Leaders of the Day. Today we had a free day in which we got to choose what we wanted to do in groups. We got to sleep in today, until 8:30 am. For breakfast, we had hojaldra, which is like a fried flour tortilla, which we had with sausages, bananas, and orange juice. When we finished eating, we split up into two groups to go explore. Our group was with the GGL Liz and we went thrifting and bought clothes and souvenirs. Our group bought so much that we all chipped in to buy an extra suitcase. The other was with the GGL Andy and PC Larry to buy leather products like belts, hats, and boots.
For lunch, we met back up at our wonderful chef, Angie´s cafe La Bruja, where we had chicken, rice, and plantains. After lunch we split back up, one group going back to the hotel, and our group continued to shop. When we got back to the hotel, some went back out with a group to Super99. On their way back, they got stuck in the rain, and it started pouring. They bought two umbrellas but still ended up soaked from the rain.
Later we had dinner which was a vegetable soup with garlic bread. We ended our night with our nightly meeting and handed our leadership roles to the new leaders.

I love the free day! I was trying to figure out why Thaddeus had six separate transactions on the same day at the same place… He definitely loves shopping. It looks like and it sounds like you guys are all having an amazing time, continue to have so much fun and enjoy all that this adventure has to offer.
