Free Day (No. 5)

Today we got to wake up later than usual. Breakfast was eggs and rolls and we had free time until lunch. Free time consisted of playing card games, swimming and taking naps. Then we loaded up the bus and traveled to San Pedro and broke up into groups to go shopping. One group went to get their nails done, some walked around the town and the others went and enjoyed pizza at dominos. Around 5:30 we got back on the bus and headed back to the ranch. Dinner was a variety of options. Later that night we had our nightly meeting and then got ready to go to bed since we need to be up at 6 am.

Congratulations on getting to sleep in a bit today.
The Greenbergs are happy to see your trip was not obviously interrupted by Hurricane Beryl but I see from the post and pictures you received a lot of rain.
Jayden, I’m surprised you chose Dominoes pizza over exploring the town but I can’t wait to hear what you thought about an international food chain doing business in the Dominican Republic.
Did the pizza taste the same? Did you like it as much or less than local food?
You all look happy and a 6AM departure sounds exciting. Jayden, I’m looking forward to your beautiful writing! To the other authors- job well done so far.
Last, I noticed new and consistent students spending time together. I love this and look forward to watching you all create memories that will last far beyond the trip. Such a special time for everyone!
