Hello Glimpsers! (No. 3)

Hello to all Global Glimpse travelers and families! I’m so excited to introduce myself and meet you all! My name is Juan Martinez-Muñoz, first time Global Glimpse Leader, and genuinely looking forward to embarking on this (hopefully) transformative experience with you all this summer.

I currently work as a college counselor at Libertas Academy Charter School in Springfield, MA. While this is my first time traveling with Global Glimpse, this isn’t my first time engaging in service projects. My first year in college I went to New Orleans for an alternative spring break, and fell in love with the place and the experience. After not taking advantage during my time in high school, I wanted to make sure the opportunity to have the students I work with be able to engage in such activity wasn’t passed up on.

A few fast facts about me:

• A big movie guy (expect pop culture references that you may or may not understand)
• Big fan of hikes
• Love taking photos and portraits

Beyond that, I am someone who enjoys getting to help and engage with students whilst pushing them to find their (current) fully realized selves. I look forward to seeing you all at 2:50pm on Tuesday, July 9th at Boston Logan Airport. Just look for the bald guy with a Global Glimpse shirt at Terminal B!
