hello! (No. 36)

Hello all! I am Sabrina and I will be one of your Global Glimpse leaders. I’m thrilled to be joining you in the Dominican Republic this Summer and sharing my passion for exploration with you all. I’m confident that together we’ll create unforgettable memories and discover hidden gems along the way!

This is my first year with Global Glimpse. I  love traveling and whenever I get the chance I take it. When I found out about Global Glimpse I jumped at the opportunity. I have traveled in state and out of state. Two of most favorite places that I have visited are Hawai’i and New Orleans. I love exploring and emerging into new cultures and communities. I can’t wait to see what this trip has in store for us!

I am an English teacher at Lighthouse Charter in Oakland. I have been teaching for 8 years, this is my first year teaching high school. I taught TK for 6 years and first grade for my very first year teaching. Being in the uncomfortable is an amazing thing! When we put ourselves out there and try new things there is no telling where we could go! Being able to watch my students learn and grow is an amazing aspect of my job. Now, I can’t wait to see you all learn and grow on our trip!
