Hello There :)

Hi All!

My name is Abbie Vilar, and I’ll be one of the Global Glimpse Leaders traveling with you to Turrialba, Costa Rica! I am currently a social science teacher and will be at Hillsdale High in San Mateo this upcoming school year. This will be my first time traveling with Global Glimpse and I’m really excited to travel with you all to Costa Rica, as Costa Rica has been on my travel bucket list for a while now.

Aside from being a high school teacher, I enjoy spending time at home with my fiance, fur babies Rockie and Heihei, and my plant babies. My favorite food combo is a cup of coffee and a pastry + the beach is my favorite place on earth aside from my bed. I have been reading like a mad woman since the beginning of the year, and I am proud to say that I have read 73/80 books on my Goodreads challenge – I have 4/5 books lined up for this trip so if you are a fellow reader would LOVE to chat about which book/series you are on at the moment.

I am BEYOND EXCITED for this adventure and cannot wait to meet you all, get to know you better, and experience the pura vida life with all of you!
