Helloooo (No. 2)

Hey everyone! My name is Xavier Gardner, and I go to Urban Assembly School for Law and Justice, Downtown Brooklyn. I’m African American, but I also speak and understand some Spanish by teaching myself. My favorite hobbies are skateboarding, learning Spanish, carpentry, and flooring. I’m excited to go to the Dominican Republic to see how the African diaspora there connects to Black American culture and Caribbean culture, plus to practice my Spanish. I’m also excited to meet new people on the trip, learn about Dominican culture, and hear Bachata and maybe some Bolero!!
