Hi, my name is Kayla. I attend Williamsburg Preparatory High School in Brooklyn, yet I live in Queens. I enjoy watching movies, reading books, gardening, playing volleyball (indoor or beach), traveling and visiting family, and especially learning and trying new things. As a rising senior, I will be one of the captains of my school’s volleyball team. I am also in a literacy program and currently working on a story that is to be published through the program, which I am very excited about. I also have an internship at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden which has wonderful views during the day and definitely recommend it! At my internship, I tend to work with children, or even adults, to teach them about examples of environmental action and many skills like plant identification. I have never traveled to Costa Rica and am very excited to make a difference!

Kaylaaaaaaa, this is Tenzin. I MISS YOUUUU?. Hope you are doing well. Can’t wait to hear of all the fun and new things you learned. I think I’m seriously going to cry when you come back. BTW, AP scores are back and I literally got a 3 in AP lit, I thought I saw wrong ? LOL. ANYWAYS, have fun! and I know you’re going to be a great leader just like in volleyball ??.
