Student Trip Blog

Hi everyone! (No. 12)

Hello everyone,

My name is Marina, and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to introduce myself to you today. Originally from Spain, I currently reside in the vibrant city of Barcelona.

I pursued my undergraduate studies in Criminology and Public Policy for Prevention at the university. Following my passion for conflict resolution and social justice, I completed a Master’s degree in Mediation and Alternative Conflict Resolution upon finishing my undergraduate studies.

Currently, I work as a social educator at a private foundation that supports young immigrants who arrive in Spain without resources or family. It’s incredibly rewarding to be able to make a difference in the lives of these young individuals and help them integrate into society.

Outside of work, I have a variety of interests that keep me active and engaged. I’m passionate about sports, finding joy in activities that challenge both my body and mind. Additionally, I’m an avid reader, always eager to dive into new books and expand my horizons. On weekends, you can often find me enjoying the beautiful beaches or exploring the picturesque mountains that surround Barcelona.

I’m excited to be a part of this community and look forward to getting to know each of you better. Thank you for allowing me to share a bit about myself.
