Hi everyone! (No. 5)

Hello, my name is Rachel and I am so excited to be heading on this trip with you all in the next couple of days! I am someone who really enjoys the outdoors and exploring new areas that I’m unfamiliar with. For my sophomore year Summer Search trip, I attended the National Outdoor Leadership Society in the Adirondacks, New York. This trip taught me a lot about appreciating the little things around us that we may not see as luxuries, but in reality- a lot of people may not have those things. I applied to this trip because I felt it would provide a unique opportunity to immerse myself in a vibrant culture, contribute to local community projects, and develop valuable leadership and global citizenship skills. I am most looking forward to making new friends and memories with you all on this trip!
