Hey everyone! My name is Avery and I am 17 years old. I go to Mountain View High School and I’m entering my senior year (still in denial about it). I’ve lived in Mountain View my whole life and didn’t have many opportunities to travel when I was younger. However, I was able to travel to Europe last summer and have fallen in love with traveling ever since. I’m SO excited and thankful to have this opportunity to go to Costa Rica, meet lovely new people, and learn about a new culture. I love being active and playing sports like softball and basketball. Some of my hobbies include listening to music, reading, dancing, and volunteering in my community. While I am not a morning person and am unprepared for the 4 am meeting time at the airport, I’m looking forward to meeting you all on Monday!
