We finally arrived in DR, and we landed at Santiago Airport, from there we started our journey to Constanza. Our trip was fun, we played some games and when we arrived at Constanza we had a delicious Dominican meal.
Then we got ready for the City Tour, which was an amazing experience. Getting to know our home for the next 14 days, its streets, parks, and beautiful weather. One of the highlights of the city tour was visiting the Fire department; the firefighters shared with us their passion for service and how they built custom fire trucks from scratch just they can go through the smallest streets of Constanza and neighboring towns.
We had some delicious locally made ice cream, and we headed back to our hotel to have dinner and finish with the nightly meeting.
It was a fun and intense day, but we made it and had a great time.
