¡Hola a todos! (No. 2)

Hi y’all! I’m Liz, one of your GGLs for our Riobamba trip! With less than a week away, I’m getting really excited and I hope you are, too! I’ve been a high school Spanish teacher for the past 2.5 years and I’ll be moving to the middle school level at a Dual Immersion school this fall! I previously taught elementary and preschool English in Madrid, Spain for 5 years where I fell in love with the Spanish language, culture, and way of life. (People always ask why I moved back and I’m still not quite sure! Spain is amazing! (I’ll probably move back someday…) Before that, I lived in Monterey, California studying Kinesiology with an emphasis on Health and Wellness at CSUMB (go otters!). I love stretching, yoga, gardening, journaling, drinking kombucha, hiking, and being in nature with my little chihuahua Maya, anything artsy/craftsy/DIY, and helping people in any way I can. I can’t wait for my mind to be broadened by these new experiences we are about to have together and for the change and growth that is to come! ¡Nos vemos pronto!
