Intro Blog

Hi! I’m Estela Ramos and I’m a student at Professional Performing Arts School in New York. This is my first time going to the Dominican Republic, which is extra exciting because I am Dominican-American and my entire family is Dominican. I love nature, writing, art and theatre. I applied for Global Glimpse because I really wanted to travel to the Dominican Republic because I felt it would be so important to learning things about myself, whether it be with my family or a program like this. I know I’m going to feel so strongly about all the work we’ll be doing there. I am most looking forward to meeting new people my age because I love making new friends and I am a pretty naturally social person. Excited for all these new experiences I’m gonna have!
