Introduction! (No. 2)

Hi everyone! My name is Madelyn, however everyone calls me Maddy! I am a junior at Berkeley High School. My trip is June fifth to Turrialba, Costa Rica! I am very excited to travel to a new country. I have never been outside of the United States so I am looking forward to being able to experience a new culture as well as learn about the environment!  I am also looking forward to meeting my delegation and be able to make new friends. I know this trip will stay with me for the rest of my life. Some of the hobbies I have include making art, going to concerts with my mom, singing in the car, yoga, and doing almost anything with my friends! I also love to be outside and in nature. I attend a two and a half year medical internship at Children’s Hospital in Oakland called CHAMPS. I am hoping to bring some of the skills I have learned, such as professionalism, and inclusivity in order to help my peers and the people around me! I am looking forward to meeting new people as well as making some really amazing memories! See you all soon!
