Introduction (No. 7)

Hello, my name is Ian. I was told about Global Glimpse through a lot of my senior friends that went last year, and I rushed to apply to this program. Me being a junior and being so occupied with school, I kinda forgot about the trip and just recently became re-engaged and exited to go to Costa Rica.

I’m a creative person that enjoys traveling (even though opportunities are rare) and enjoys both music and photography. Lately, I’ve been listening to an unhealthy amount of music with 88 hours of music listened to this month alone, so a focus of mine is just to just enjoy the moments without having headphones on all the time.

I lived my whole life in the Bronx, however, I do plan on heading far away for college. My family is of Dominican decent and am a second-generation American. My main reason to go to Costa Rica is because it’s somewhere new and I enjoy the topic of global warming.
