Introductory Blog

Hello, my name is Madeline but most of my friends call me Madi. You can call me whichever name you prefer. I am beyond excited for my trip to Turrialba on June 10th and to meet everyone coming along! I’m most looking forward to learning all about Costa Rica and immersing myself in a new culture as well as trying new foods! At home, I love to go exploring, being outside, hiking, camping, swimming etc. In my free time I play softball and field hockey. I also work as a lifeguard and I love kids so I babysit a lot. I am very involved in my school, in ASB and as an editor of my school newspaper. I hope to learn a lot from my trip, journal and write down all of the memories, and create meaningful bonds with my delegation! So excited to meet everybody!
