Hi everyone! It’s your girls, Maggie and Victoria, here with the inside scoop of the Glimpsers’ day. Today’s theme was aid and development. We started our day with an 8:00 am wakeup. For breakfast this morning we had pancakes, eggs, fruit, and the usual fruit juice. We had our first CAP (community action project) seminar in the morning. We learned about our project and everything it entails. We will be doing service at the Santa Rosa school in town where we will be painting classrooms and giving the kids a new soccer field, we start on Friday and will work until Monday. Then with an hour of free time between we took a dip in the pool because it was a million degrees out. We played several fun games, such as Margaret Frances (also known to some as marco polo). We dried off and went to lunch and had beef, mashed potatoes, and salad. Then we had a very special guest speaker, Rodrigo, who taught us about sustainable development and talked about the 17 modes of finding harmony in environments that can be applied around the world. After that we all called home, it was great talking to everyone! We all miss you (only a few tears were shed). Then we had dinner which was pasta with meat sauce, salad, and garlic bread. We went onto our nightly meeting where we recapped the day and took a peek into our very fun day tomorrow. Now we are all hanging out, waiting to tuck into bed any minute. We had a great day today and cannot wait for tomorrow!
Signing off,
Maggie(Margaret Frances) and Victoria

Hi Victoria!
I love all of the pictures of everyone at the waterfall. What a fun day.
Secondly, note to everyone, but I’m talking to you, wear older, dirtier clothes to paint tomorrow at the school. You will definitely get paint on your clothes and it will never come out!
Good luck at the school!

Hi Olivia!
Daddy and I miss you! We both loved talking to you last night and hearing a little bit about your trip — and most importantly — that you’re having a great time. Just to give you a smile…Daddy came home with three big boxes of lots of great food mostly meat and produce someone near his work had given him and told him to give it to someone in need. He came home and we went two of the fridges – at Soul and Smoke and Dodge. Dad got to see people take the food and couldn’t believe how quick it went at both fridges — there’s some more fun details of Dad’s goofiness and now wanting to help get stuff for the fridges I’ll share when you get back. The pics from your fun day look fantastic. Love u! Mama (Daddy too) oh…and Guiness misses u 2.
