Olivia DiMarzo GGL

Hey, everyone!

My name is Olivia DiMarzo and I am one of the GGLs on our trip to Constanza, Dominican Republic. I am a Spanish Teacher at Northampton High School and this is my first time going on one of the Global Glimpse trips! I hope what I write gives you a taste of who I am, but writing, especially a blog post, is not my forte, but alas!

I am an avid crafter – sewing and clothes are my favorite things. I appreciate the vibes being right.  Positive is how I would describe who I am and laughing is truly what I am probably best at. I strongly believe, as having learnt from my mother (I’ve included a picture with her) that there is light in any situation and so I hope that on this trip I can help with making you all feel validated and comfortable. Also, I have a frenchie and he is high maintenance, but HYSTERICAL so one must have a good sense of humor when dealing with this crazy creature of mine. All in all, I say this because sometimes new experiences can randomly feel like a lot, but I am here to be a support for you. I will be there to listen and talk and to the best of my ability, provide light, energy and laughs.
