Hi everyone!!! My name is Makayla Abbott but you can call me Mia. I’m from Harlem but I go to school and currently live in the Bronx! I’m obsessed with all kinds of music(my fav artist is Tyler the creator) and I love being in the water! I am a rising senior at University Heights High School and I am a participant in the program Summer Search. Summer search helped connect me with Global Glimpse, and I am so excited to learn about and experience the Dominican culture. I love seeing different perspectives on life and I think this trip will definitely be a way for me to see life differently. During this trip, I want to make a lot of new memories and connections!!!
