Ready for Costa Rica!

I am so excited to start our community service action project in Costa Rica this coming July 2024 with all of our upcoming high school seniors!

My name is Lolita Go, I will be one of the GG leaders for our T3B-LA cohort. I am a Biology teacher at Da Vinci Communications High School in El Segundo but grew up in Los Angeles and the Philippines for most of my life. I didn’t become an outdoor enthusiast until I went to college at Cal Poly Humboldt in 2016-2020. During and after college, I fell in love with the outdoors and nature through camping, hiking, and backpacking.

I also fell in love with travel and community service, which is why I’m so excited to do all of the above with the upcoming generation of young adults, together! My biggest hope for our students in this cohort is that they will learn to love the joy of serving others above themselves and that they will become better, kinder humans after our trip. I’m ready to be humbled through our experience together, I can’t wait!
