Leaving San Francisco

After saying farewell to families, we had a very smooth check-in process. Many of us even got through security without having to take off shoes or belts! Water bottles are filled, and we are in our seats ready for takeoff. ?

It’s great to see students already taking initiative to get to know each other. We will have more time in the New Jersey airport to do orientation/games. Fingers crossed that the weather is nice in New Jersey to avoid delays. As it is, we should be arriving in the DR around 1:45 AM (10:45 PM PST).
