See You In July!

Hello Global Glimpsers and Families!

I am so excited about our upcoming trip to Costa Rica! This will be my first trip with Global Glimpse; however not my first trip out of the US. I love to travel and force myself out of my comfort zone. I love seeing things I have never seen before and that I cannot see living in Chicago and the Midwest. I have been to over 15 countries and spent a year teaching in English in France shortly after college. It was this experience that really helped me understand the importance of learning about other cultures and has helped me grow into an empathetic and curious person. When not traveling, you can find me riding my bike, eating great food, laughing with my friends, or reading a great book.

One of my favorite things about being a teacher is seeing how young people grow from challenges, continue to learn who they are as people, and broaden their understanding of the world. I am so excited to meet and get to know this group of amazing young people. I am confident we will build a strong community with each other and the people we meet throughout our travels!
