Greetings Glimpsers and Families!!
My name is Michael Gardner and I have been a Counselor for 6 wonderful years. I currently work at the Bronx Center for Science and Mathematics in the Morrisannia part of the Bronx. I have a background in most things human service related. It stems from Child Welfare and Child Protective Services to teaching and discipline.
I decided to become a Global Glimpse Leader because I love how they emphasize learning through traveling and experiencing the world. Giving extraordinary experiences to students that they remember forever is something that they strive for and I am happy to be a part of it.
Outside of education, I am a Therapist looking to open my own practice in the future and help people learn to love themselves. I like hiking, traveling, and activities that keep me active! Last year, I went to Riobamba, Ecuador, and looking forward to creating new experiences and bonds in Panama!
P.S.. Yes! I do practice mindfulness and try to meditate often! Looking forward to sharing if anyone is interested!
