Holà, dear followers of this adventure in the heart of Constanza!
As our dear Lao Tzu once said: “The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step”.
Today, our students took the most challenging step by getting out of their comfort zones and embarking on this journey. As Program Coordinators, we met our Glimpsers at the Santiago airport with a lot of excitement.
Then, we headed to the Rancho Chito for our first gastronomic experience in the Dominican Republic. We got to eat chicken with typical rice and beans. It was delicious!
Following lunch, we hit the road for two hours to get to our home base, the Hotel Dilenia in Constanza. The landscapes here are gorgeous!
Finally, we got to know each other with little activities and our first Global Glimpse seminar. We finally ended the day with the traditional Nightly meeting. We are sure we’ll have an epic trip!
Stay tuned for more wild stories from the DR!
