The Finale.

As leaders of the day, we’re abusing our power entirely by keeping this blog short and sweet. We started off the day with a 7 am wake-up followed by breakfast. We were blessed today with a super fun three-hour reflection with the entire group, where we bonded even deeper, shed many tears, and shared lots and lots of Big Love for each other.  We had an amazing lunch in classic Dominican style with white rice, sancocho, and casabe. After lunch, we took care of some boring last-minute details before we scurried off to downtown Jarabacoa for last-minute souvenirs.

To our surprise, we went to a beautiful waterfall where we bonded and connected with each other over the scenery and pictures – many, many pictures. Following that, we rushed back to get ready for our last supper together at a pizzeria. After the dinner, we came back and had our last nightly meeting together (which was sad) where we had nothing but roses to share and a full 30 minutes of Big Love for each other. Our amazing leaders have planned out a movie night for us to close out a fantastic two-week trip (hence the short blog today).

As someone important once said (no clue who), “All good things must come to an end”. Thank you to the family and friends who have commented, shared love, and supported each of us through this journey. Thank you to the leaders who have led us during this journey and showed us so much love throughout the whole trip. We’re all very excited to see you guys tomorrow!
