Hola Glimpsers and Families,

My name is Lenore Hinson, and I am a teacher at Baccalaureate School for Global Education in Queens. This is my second time traveling as a Global Glimpse Leader, and I am looking forward to sharing this wonderful opportunity to learn about the history, culture, and people of the Dominican Republic with all of you.

I am originally from Memphis, Tennessee, and made my way to NYC by working in Antarctica, studying and traveling in Europe, hiking in Asia, and serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in Kazakhstan.

Along with my love of teaching, I am also passionate about theater, reading, creative writing, practicing yoga, hiking, and trying to play the mandolin!

I feel very fortunate to share this Global Glimpse experience with you all.
