Hi, I’m Aileen, born and raised in the Bay Area California. Professionally, I’m a data scientist and have an Applied Mathematics degree from UC Berkeley…insert nerd emoji here ? Personally, I am an avid traveler (with the DR being my 25th country) and a public speaker on STEM education topics. As an alumna of Global Glimpse, I’ve had the privilege of participating in the Nicaragua program during high school, an experience that left a lasting impact on my life. Beyond traveling, I’m a huge Disney fan and some of my hobbies include reading (specifically biography genres), planting, and watching movies. I also maintain a balanced lifestyle by going for outdoor hikes and practicing yoga. I’m so excited to be your GGL and support you in this transformative journey!
