Work Like A Local 6/14

Today was working as a local day! We woke up early and after eating went to visit a cucumber parcela (part of a farm). While we were there we helped the farm workers by uprooting and removing old cucumber plants that had already been harvested. We took a tour of a nearby cucumber processing factory that distributed cucumbers to the United States. It was eye-opening for us to get a glimpse of the farm and factory workers’ lives and also where some of our food in the U.S comes from. After a long day, we came back to celebrate Mouli’s birthday! We had cake and all sang feliz cumpleanos! Buenos Noches!
