As many of you know, the group arrived safely in Panama City this morning but their flight to Santiago, DR was cancelled by Copa Airlines.
Copa re-booked the whole group on a different flight to the DR arriving in Santo Domingo instead of Santiago. This new flight info has been entered into the portal but it is also here for your reference…

The group was given meal money by Copa Airlines in Panama for them to be able to buy lunch and dinner at the airport. Our fantastic GGL Ms. Suzuki has reported that the group is bonding well and in good spirits but they are understandably tired after a long day of travel. Our program coordinators will meet the group at the airport in Santo Domingo upon arrival.
The group will then go to Santo Domingo Bed & Breakfast which is an accommodation provider that we have vetted in Santo Domingo for groups that arrive late or depart early. This is a better option than having the group drive all the way to Constanza after a long day of travel.
The group will have a chance to sleep in and then call families sometime tomorrow.
