Hey Glimpsers! We are leaving in two weeks and I am so excited to meet all of you and create some amazing memories in the Dominican Republic.
My name is Abby Andrade and I work as the Family Service Assistant for Conley Caraballo High School, our alternative high school within NHUSD in Union City. I love working in my community and helping kiddos find their own path to success. I strongly believe in building strong community leaders and I look forward to learning and growing with each of you on our journey to the ‘DR.’
This will be my second Global Glimpse trip, I went to San Juan de la Maguana for my FIRST GG trip last year. (this group was pretty amazing so I can’t wait to meet you all, I bet were gonna be a pretty fun crew!)
I had so much fun and made so many friends that I returned and visited again in December!
I believe that making friends and maintaining those relationships is key to being a great global citizen. I hope we can talk more about this!
I am excited to return the DR and visit a new place and meet new folks. Let the countdown BEGIN!
