Hello Global Glimpsers and families!
My name is Thomas Díaz and I am one of your Global Glimpse Leaders (GGLs) for our trip to Turrialba, Costa Rica! I am Colombian American with a love for travel and food from anywhere and everywhere. I teach biology and chemistry at Williamsburg Preparatory High School. I am so excited to meet you all in-person and am looking forward to getting to know you over our 2 weeks together. This will be my first trip to Costa Rica so I’m excited, as I’m sure you are, for all we will see, experience, and EAT.
This will be my first trip with Global Glimpse but I have traveled internationally in the past to places like Colombia, Europe, Mexico, and Nicaragua. I lived in Colombia for a while in 2019! Traveling can be life-changing and I’m thrilled to share this experience with you all. There’s an infinite amount of things to learn from seeing different places, cultures, people, and ways of living. Some things I love include yoga, coffee, dancing, and music.
