Mila and Dani in front of aquiares waterfall

¡Pura Vida! My name is Milagro, but you can call me Mila. I was born and raised in Cartago, Costa Rica. I hold a bachelor’s degree in environmental health from the University of Costa Rica and most recently earned a degree in education. I value conversing with people of all ages and learning from their experiences because I believe that sharing and exchanging knowledge is one of the most effective ways to make a positive impact in this world and I realized how interconnected everything in the world truly is.

In my leisure time, you will usually find me tending to my plants or working in my vegetable garden. However, I also enjoy being creative and finding new ways to express myself, such as sewing, embroidery, or whatever craft project comes to mind. Last but not least, hanging out with my tiny dog Piti and loved ones is at the top of my favorite activities in life.

¡Hola a todos! My name is Daniel, I’m 25 years old, and I’m from Santo Domingo, the capital of The Dominican Republic. It’s an island in the middle of the Caribbean home of some of the greatest beaches in the world. I am an advertising specialist and creative by career and an explorer by nature. This combination has made me embark on other areas such as cultural exchange, alternative education, and alternative tourism.

This will be my second time working with Global Glimpse! I was able to lead 3 delegations in Constanza, Dominican Republic in 2022. Working with Global Glimpse has been truly one of the greatest work experiences I’ve ever had. I was able to understand even better the power that travel has on education during that time because it not only showed on the students but on me as well.

I like to spend my free time going to museums and galleries, hanging out and skating around on my longboard with my friends, going on road trips and when I’m home I just cool down with my cat Shike and play video games. All of this goes to some great music.

We can’t wait to see you all this summer here in Costa Rica!

Big love,
Mila and Daniel
