The Heckscher Foundation for Children
The Heckscher Foundation was founded in 1921 to promote the welfare of children in New York and elsewhere throughout the United States. Today, it provides grants to youth-serving organizations in the fields of education, family services, child welfare, health, arts and recreation.
The Charles Hayden Foundation
The Charles Hayden Foundation seeks to promote the mental, moral and physical development of children and youth ages five to eighteen in the metropolitan area of New York and the City of Boston. Their focus is on those institutions and programs serving youth most at risk of not reaching their full potential, especially youth in low-income communities.
